  • It's amazing how so many wrestlers die an untimely death. Kerry Mike Dave Chris Von Erich, Chris Adams, Gino Hernandez, Chris Benoit, Guerrero, I mean... The list goes on.

Christ!! Even Jack Von Erich died of electrocution at age 6. That family was just cursed. Sad.

  • Both Adams and Von Erich died of gunshot wounds. Weird.

  • @StuUngar People seem neither to respect or understand, the intense pain professional wrestlers endure, and the exceptional athleticism they MUST possess. Thus, participation at a high level; especially with more and more over the top physicality, these guys are often [not always] relegated to a toxic stew of painkillers for chronic injuries, and PED's [not necessarily steroids] to perform as expected. They go ALL out for the fans, but all people seem to want to do is criticize them. Pathetic.

  • @StuUngar It's fucking scary. To have so many in the same nuclear family circle meet the same dark fate... it gives me chills whenever I think about it. I mean, it REALLY is eerie and, again, very very sad.

  • @haveapez There's a very big difference between steroids like cortisone or prednisone, which are basically anti-inflammatory meds and stanozolol or deca durabolin...which are synthetic testerosterone meds.

But based on Chris Von Erich's build in this video compared to a few years earlier, I'd bet the farm that CVE was taking anabolic steroids at this time. Kerry and Kevin def were. Mike and David probably did too.

  • @daTruChosen Anyways, I only knew Ernest Hemingway was some writer or some kind. When I read about more about him, it was like "Wow! That's the Hemingway bros exactly!" I snagged a quote about him from Wiki where someone described him as, "introverted and private, although (he) masked his nature with braggadocio."

That describes the Hemingway's I knew perfectly.

I think you're 100% correct about genetic predisposition to suicide, depression, etc.

  • @daTruChosen Funny you mention the Hemingway family. I was in a fraternity with two Hemingway boys. Idk how they were related, or even if they were direct descendants. But I know there was a relation, and they had a bit more money than the avg family. With that said they were very...odd. You'd think two "frat" boys with money and coming from a prosperous family would be the shit, or at least think they are.

They were two oddballs who always seemed like they were trying to fit in.

  • Damn man Chris Tried so so hard

  • @jacksiin1000 Chris did get on steroids. I believe though it was bad for him because his asthma made his bones brittle or something like that.

  • At last, seeing Paul Bearer wrestle.

    Thank you, internets.
