Penda Racing Series: Night Life 3/Tropical Thunder 1

this was originaly built and driven by Dave Wieczorek from Nebraska but was later in later '90 early '91 sold to Wayne Smozanik from florida and the first show in qualifying he filled the truck in Bloomsburg, Pa 1991 the truck was rebodied and ran as night life for a few mounth before it was renamed at Tropical Thunder this truck was later sold and shiped to UK and named Miami Thunder and toured with Bigfoot 6, AMPM Boss 2 and AMPA Rocket in Europe but in Eygpt it was impunted becoase some paper work wassent in order corectly and it would coast more then 5 times the trucks value to get them out of egypt so they are left there Rocket was the only truck that made it out the rest are or suposely still there to this day this was back in 1996 or 97 Sad but true

the Description of this truck is not entirely true!!.. the truck that you see in this video was indeed sold, but the name remained in the U.S. My father Built the truck that you saw in Shake, Battle, Roll ( where he in fact beat Big Foot in round one, but tore down 25 feet of catch fence in Naples Florida ) Wayne Sold the truck in '95 to Doug Cole out of Douglasville, Ga where it then became "Blown Thunder"

the leafsprong truck in this video was sold to UK and was named Miami Thunder where it was lost later

the tubeframe Tropical thunder that became blown thunder was also sold to uk and ran as blown thunder and now is Grim Reaper and it still tours with Big Pete wish is former Kodiak

from what i understand, someone from saudi arabia got 2 of the trucks from egypt? not sure what ones but a friend of my father said he saw a show with monster trucks (only the two) and they old stype, metal bodies etc.someone told him they where the only ones thay could find short of importing two or parts

Wayne Smozanek is now a drag racer, and he won the World Street Nationals back in 1997. Wayne would occasionally win a round or two, but usually went out in round number one.

Wayne Smozanek is the last driver I would let to drive my truck. I not just saying this because of this Shake, Battle, Roll movie. On Monster Wars Trocpical Thunder never EVER!!! made out of the 1st round. HE was a feeder/jobber.
