Kinda strange english doesnt have a word for this kind of happiness :P I do know dutch has a word for it. Even tell my friends that it is my best sort of entertainment

@KumaOso16 You're probably right. However it should be noted that Sadism is marked by a higher state of arousal (usually akin to sexual arousal) and typically involves the sadist being the cause of the pain.

actually, Schadenfreude (the word) tends to put a lot of people (who know what it means :P) at unease. because laughing when someone trips is funny. but Schadenfreude is like watching someone get their face wedged between concrete and a train and being grinded down until their's nothing left...and laughing about it. in fact, if you look it up, a lot of people are disgusted with it because they can't believe their are people who actually do laugh when they see a baby dying of skin cancer :P
