@banjoneely Larry... predictable? lol. He is the only innovator on stage.

Coryell and Di Meola are great players but predictable. Lagrene brings out something new and so different in his note choices. He has just as good a technical ability as Di Meola with more inventive sounds. Coryell knows how to energize the audience, too.

i prefer the genuine spanish guitar sound and not the acoustic guitar, but it was a great trio anyway

It is a little bit rough Al playing the theme

After the song was done, the guitar strings were quoted as yelling "UNCLE!!!!!!"

@cosmiclight He is 23 years older than Lagrene, but only 9 years older than DiMeola.

@cosmiclight Larry isn't exactly much older, or whatever. Eleventh House wasn't out that much earlier than when Return to Forever signed on DiMeola.
*Stratoleft: Not sure what I was referring to about Coryell's age but I don't remember comparing the time of Eleventh House to Return to Forever signing on Di Meola. Coryell was playing and performing professionally his early guitar work in the early-mid 1960's when Di Meola was still in middle grade school! Check the Wikipedia history on both.

I love all three of these guys, but I have to admit I dig Larry's solo the most, but the incredible thing is he's doing it on a twelve sting...
