    I can't express how hauntingly and chillingly beautiful Skip James's voice is. Such a unique voice for the blues. I could listen to that falsetto all night and day.

    now that u mention it, does look like him but if it is he didn't perform on the film. Its amazing that Skip and a lot the "rediscoveries" had been living there lives away from the early recordings they performed. There was no fame or glory for them in their heyday. Sad these bluesman are not appreciated more. (except by you guys of course)
