@boozeroyale hi again, just seen the video's, he looks great, they have to be one of the best dogs around, mines doing fine, he thinks he's a jack russel the way he chases rabbits, no chance of catching one though, they hear hime a mile away...lol
ive not got any recent videos as ive just come back from a tour of duty, will have some done soon and will let you know when i do, all the best to you and the dog ;-)
@plko5322 I did! Love him! What a great breed, huh? Anyway, I do have some videos posted on my page. I have them up to where he is a year old so I need to take some updated ones though. Hope your good looking boy is doing great! :-)
Regardless, he's a good looking boy. What breeder you get him from? I've got a deposit on a pup at Synyster Dogue De Bordeaux. I'll probably be posting some vids when I get him. I love the size of your Dogue, not too small and not so big he can't run around.
next time i take my dogs to the lake ill video them, but its to cold at the moment, breaking the ice might not be as good as peanut butter!! i'll let you know once i got the video, and not to worry arnie still has the same collar! :-)
Good idea, but i did'nt need any peanut butter, he learnt the same way as my retriever and now loves the water just as much.......$0.02 refund..lol :-)
Yeah, I did the same thing to my first Rottie. It backfired and he never went into the water deeper than his belly. My second Rottie would only go belly deep too so I tried something different. This time I started throwing in a peanut butter covered stick. I would throw it a little further each time. Took a few times to the lake but he eventually got it. If a dog associates swimming with something bad, he isn't going to do it. My $0.02. :-)
My dogue hated the water at first, then his best friend a Lab started swimming now I have to stop him from jumping in every pond he goes to.

Haha, well fair enough. That said, let's see the video of him swimming with the same collar on. Then I will gladly take my $0.02 back. ;-)
