The Offspring rips off other bands?

First of all: Offspring is one of my favourite bands, this is not a video to make fun of Offspring or something like that!

Second: I personally don't think all these songs sound alike, but some people have pointed out several similarities between songs from Offspring's new album and song from other bands. So I made a video to show you how things are, so you can judge yourself.

this one of the biggest insults to offpsring! it is impossible that every single song sounds uniquely. songs do sound similar sometimes. LIVE WITH IT! and some of the songs shown here were released by the offspring before the other band released their similar song. to conclude, this video is quite a joke.

of course they copy other stuff , but to show that that band is awesome.... the offspring copied the adolescents with the name ... theyve used some of the adolescents lyrics in there lyrics ... It goes on and on but rip off ? No . Influenced ? Yes.

@WizardLock I don't hear the alleged similarities for most of these. The only one that made any sense was Half-Truism sounding like Helena. But that was just the chorus. Other than that, their songs sound pretty original to me. You can go on believing they're a shitty rip-off band if you want. Oh, and keep ignoring the fact that plenty of bands have ripped off The Offspring. You're entitled to your extremely misguided opinion.

And I didn't say the greatest, I said one of the greatest, there's a difference. And the ones they have that sound similar to other songs are not rip offs. They are not that similar. And bands do this all the time. Stairway to Heaven sounds very similar to a song by the band Spirit. Are you gonna call Led Zeppelin a "shitty thieving band" too?

The Bassline in Hammerhead during the bridge is similar to the bass line in Stay Away By Nirvana. Also, the riff to Change the World (also used at the end of the album Smash) is just Genocide slowed down. The guitar riff to Dammit I Changed Again is just the riff to Amazed sped up.

firstly love buzz isn't nirvana song, it's cover (don't remember which band) and secondly i saw the tabs and it has only 2 tones the same. it's just arabic scale guy!

building a religion and pretty fly has just rap melody and you can listen to every rap song and it will have the same "melody". Last 2 songs I don't see any similarities.

yes I agree with you.... all those sonds are ripped but it's their new album which sucks hard basically cause of that. They haven't got any new ideas so they jusdt ri offf....
