Kayaking the Kaituna River, New Zealand

I hired a guide from Kaituna Kayaks (http://www.kaitunakayaks.com/) to lead me down the Kaituna river in NZ. The river is class III-IV, with two notable drops - Powerhouse rapid, and Okere Falls, a 7 meter drop.
Filmed on a GoPro HD (60 fps), with a few shots from a Canon 5d Mark II (inexperienced operator auto-focused on the tree 20 feet in front of him instead of the falls 150 ft away, so footage is iffy).
This river was incredible, I'd highly recommend paddling it (or rafting if you don't paddle). I'd also highly recommend my guide, Sam from Kaituna Kayaks. Check him out on youtube at http://www.youtube.com/user/samkaituna

Hi Charlie loved your video, my brother Billy Dwyer has just been down the Kaituna river, thought it was a coincidence. Kayaking on a grade 2 is my limit! Need to say i am Theresa Dwyer, on Curlys pc grade 5 is his limit!!!
