I remember going to take a lesson from Ted after the Northridge quake. His bathroom door had to be cut open because the books in the bathtub fell and blocked them...
I asked him once "if there was a fire here and you could grab only one thing, what would it be?" "My compositions and arrangements." He cared more about what he'd written than even his favorite guitars..... So much work in them! So much sweat and joy and love! :)

I have seen alot of live play & view alot of cool sessions ...butTed's lead is so unbelievably Cool ... the ending is fab and love how Ted interacts with Cathy and the crowd....except for theman in the audience at near end ... Ted blew him away and he came back with a bigot comment ... It only takes a second to see thatTed is a genius

On the positive side.. I come back to this Blues of Cathy & Ted... I introduce this video to young guitar players... and let them watch and listen to the chord bass lead line and the sound that Ted always had and always will inspire ... The young people can see & hear the genius he was.. so cool .. I think its the best you will ever see & hear ..Powerful

Amazing. Ted told me at one of my lessons with him that if he were offered a million dollars for the guitar he's playing in this video, he would not take it. What would he do with a million dollars? Buy the guitar back??? It didn't make any sense to him.
