Cov is a good place for young people for a very short period of time. They do provide shelter and food. But they do not do much to assist young people get stabilized. Most of the kids come with serious mental health and/or drug addiction problems. Covenant House tends to overlook these issued, forcing kids to take a job or be thrown back on the street. Of course if you have a serious mental health and/or substance abuse problem, you need to address it or you will never stabilize.
