Some comments confuse the balance with the tourbillon --as the OP points out, there are two tourbillons (the tourbillon strictly speaking is the carriage not the oscillator inside it.) This is an inclined axis double tourbillon.

@coinageboy Why? please answer me

@snorkellisab buy a very tiny person.

Never ask anyone to explain this to you...

How are the tiniest screws made?
-
Which Mozart piano concerto is that?

No there are two tourbillons. The escapement rotates inside one tourbillon every minute and that is inside another tourbillon which rotates every four minutes. There are two tourbillons, which is why it is called a double tourbillon.

its not double tourbillon you mofo, this is 2-axis tourbillon, still a mechanical marvel of great magnitude!

@tomasdoc2002 Sorry to contradict your certainty, but I can assure you that unlike the JLC Gyrotopurbillon and Thomas Prescher's double-axis tourbillon, the Greubel Forsey Double Tourbillon is actually two separate single-axis tourbillon arranged one inside the other. The inside tourbillon cage is angled at 30° and rotates in 60-seconds, while the outer tourbillon cage rotates in 4 minutes.
