Syria Palestine was created by the Romans after the Third Jewish Rebellion to disassociate themselves with Israel. They did not exist prior to that. And that area was never called Palestine before Israel and then Judea.

Gingrich is entirely correct.

Yes it is true that all nationalities are invented, but the palestinian nationality isnt even invented. It is imaginary. Pointing this out does not suggest that they are not welcome to their own state. It means that they are NOT justified in rejecting the right for Israel to exist.

Nobody is opposed to the palestinians having a state. What we are opposed to is them having their own state, at the same time as not recognising the israeli state.

But new historians are starting to poke holes in the claims the Roman committed such for one the roman were not equip to do so, two many jews simply converted to other religion leaving a small minority, three the early days much like Muslims and Christians jews sought converts. @kaker4444 Palestinains were not always in the Area. Arabs moved into the region during the Caliphate and the locals were displaced. Also Roman's genocided the people in the area once they revolted several times in the past so Its hard to say they have always been in this region...
