  • how do you change the appeture on this lens it wont let you lock it in place with f1.8

  • @ihateyaacov you have to change it via camera

  • sorry for my lack of understanding but isn't it the point of buying this camera to use the whole point of having large aperture of 1.8 ? but you decreased it to f22. ? I must def not be understanding this .... pls help

  • @TheRealChina You have to have it at f22 for it to be able to function...however you can change the aperture with the in-camera settings.

  • will this lens work on fujifilm s5pro?

  • I don't think it will fit on non-nikon cameras.

  • @aidid12345 yes it does

  • @verizonlamborghini yes, it will work fine on a D5100, except for the auto focus, which will not work. Get the AF-S 50mm f/1.8G if you want auto focus.

  • @mrblablablabla i have a nikon 5100,will the only problem with it be it not be able to autofocus?other than that will it work fine on a 5100?

  • @hidri86

Camera bodies without a focus motor (D40(x), D60, D3000, D3100, D5000, D5100) need a lens with focusmotor (AF-S lenses) to be able to autofocus.

  • i just got this lens a few weeks ago and picked it up for 90 bucks canadian. and holy fuck kitty, am i ever in love. what a sharp, fast, fun lens for the price!

  • why are you standing behind the camera. cant see crap

  • I have just got this lense for the d40x. manual focusing is not a problem with me. but it's supposed to be a sharp lense, and it isn't sharp at all. i get a misty fog on my pictures. people also say it can be used for any photo's, except it won't let me focus it any further away than i am to my pc screen right now. i tried to take a portrait shot of my sister, but it will NOT let me focus it, the only place it will actually focus is SO close up on the eye. please help!?

  • @swiftjumper101 no. i also have an d3100. Great camera but no built in af motor

  • @hatinabox1234

What about the noctilux f:1.2 and f:0,95 ? So you do not know that much and you should watch your language.
