Spartan laser backfire suicide

Heres what happened, I charged up the laser, until it fired. It hits the other player and then his grenade takes the blast. After that the laser somehow fires through me, killing me instantly. My gamertag is kennyubastard3. Feel free to leave comments.

@notuguys Continued... You see a completely new laser shot from the midair laser that is invisible. It isn't a "refelction" or lag like all these imbisiles are saying.

Figured it out! The grenade blows up and kills you and sends the gun back. Some guns fire after you die and this so happens to be a "WTF" moment. After about the 3rd time I watched the last view, the overhead one, I saw the SPL fly back and the laser appears, just moments later, the SPL appears just above where the actual laser was shot. That sir is the explanation.

No, this is what happened. The grenade has a priority system right? Ergo, when the laser fires it's counted as a projectile rather than just a beam; which was the screw up. The priority system somehow calculated this error, and bounced the laser off as though it were a projectile. However, the trajectorial speed and direction of the laser wouldn't allow it to go any other direction than straight, which caused for the glitched back fire animation.

haha this one time I shot a rocket launcher and the rocket hit my friends grenade in midair!

it was the grenade it bounced off of that no backfire plus it couldve trigered the bomb to explode early so yeah it mustve been the grenade
