why didn't you just buy a real bike leash?
with metal rod and extensible leash(just add 2 for 2 dogs}
just as an ideea : make the wood part longer just by a foot and then the dogs will be more confortable

It's good to be out in the country, huh? I like the yoke sort of idea, keeps them from crossing in front or falling behind.
