When i turn on the laptop it makes 3 beeps and the screen won`t turn on,so i read a lot for that problem and the only one solution was the heat gun treatment, but i can`t disamble the whole notebook,so i just made that.....,but i need to make the same thing almost every time when i shut down the notebook, but i don`t care if it works :)

  • I wait until it is turn off himself, maybe about 10-30 minutes and then no beeps, works, when turn on not every time display works, but and after apsolutely not work display not work. I thin very good video and ansvers to comments.

  • mine is the same but mine turns on turns of turns on turns of and all the time it does that how to fix that?

  • so this doesn't work on my computer as it shuts down automatically after one minute. what else can i do?

  • this happens to my alienware m17x very often, but the one problem i get is that it shuts down autimaticaly even if my power options say when i close the lid it will sleep, it is on charge all night and yet it is not supposed to close

  • I can't believe people are having the same problems as I've had with my old laptop. I don't know where you learned this trick on video but, it seems to work. Looks like the problem is that, the laptop is cold inside. I'm no expert but, this is what I believe.

  • This genuinely works! I spent £50 getting this problem fixed from a guy on ebay. It returned fine but after a few days I had it again! I followed this video but I also put it under my bed sheet so that it got very hot. It didn't work the first few times but after a few attempts it is now working fine. Just try not to turn your laptop off, it might be best to just put it to sleep when you don't want to use it.

  • this solution actually works . couldnt believe my eyes when the computer started again .

but i hope i can find an other solution soon that doesnt take me 5 minutes to start up the computer .

  • @ElPeruano70 i have no idea my friend ,never buy a HP again ;)

  • Thanks so much. They should get it together. I shouldn't have to wrap my comp in a blanket to get it to work properly!
