Community First Responders are volunteers within their local community who are trained and equipped to provide lifesaving treatment to those at their time of need.
They attend patients over the age of 8 who are suffering from medical emergencies such as chest pains, breathing problems, patients found to be unconscious, fitting or in Cardiac arrest which means they are unconscious and not breathing.
Do you want to learn these skills? Can you give some time to save a life in your community? Please contact the East of England Ambulance Service on responderadmin@eastamb.nhs.uk or 01284 731802
If you would like to support your community first responder group you can donate to the local group to help them maintain their equipment . Text CCFR 01 and the amount you want to donate to 70070 and they will use your donation to make a difference to someone's life.
