  • Its hard to respond and express myself fully because it is limited to 500 characters. But long story short i woudl have thought nothign more of the show than "oh this is a neat jewelry show" if there wastn such an effort made to label the jewelry and on some level the show and yourself as "punk" or "holding hte punk rock style near and dear to your heart"

  • Again, I hear you. We are going to do another ep on alternative jewelry but it's not called punk. It's likely going to feature my ears being stretched to 3/8" which even some jewelry people have not seen. Check it out! Thx again for writing. And let us know about you! Are you a jeweler yourself?

  • Yeah Im gauging mine back to 4g as soon as these latest ones heal up. Im not a jewler i do my own piercings, im trying to finish my degree in Electrical Engineering right now.

  • I know, they can get kinda problematic when they are super big. I've shrunk them down before and they just don't want to stay that way! Oh well. I'm a litle addicted. Know you understand LOL. Yeah, Good Charlotte is no good, not punk, but how about The Distillers? Love that Brody! Email me and give us some a vid of your piercing for our show! Happy to feature it. Thx

  • Honestly the only reason i even respond is because gmail sends me a notice. You make a really big effort to equate the show with "punk rock". As far as the jewelry goes, thats cool, its cool to live your dream and to share it with others. I just think the show is a good EXAMPLE of how something beautiful has been exploited by the thing it was created to fight against

  • Juan, Weird, I like to hear your comment! Maybe we shouldn't have used "punk rock" for the show. But continuing to make fun of my saying it's "dear to my heart" is not necessary. You don't know a thing about me! :) Let me put it plainly: I WAS A TRUE PUNK IN THE EARLY 1980s. I'm probably way older than you! I listened to harcore & led the life. My love for punk is not bull or hyperboly. It's true. I don't have a mohawk anymore, but so what. That doesn't invalidate my love for the scene.

  • Thanks for the tour at Metalliferous. I've been buying from them for awhile now and it's nice to put a face to the name.

  • metakchik pay the haters no mind. i am learning a lot from watching your shows. no need to explain yourself to people who refuse to get it. let them have their opions and keep doing the awesome things your doing!

i personally am not punk, but i do love the style!

  • i live in L.A. now and i mis this store sooooo much! metal ck=hik do you know any stores like this in L.A.?

  • Yeah i can respect being there when it was a real thing. Honestly im just tired of scene kids that think goodcharlotte actually writes songs.
