Matthew Upson was the only man absent from England's training session on Sunday morning at their Bafokeng headquarters. The West Ham centre-back had a high temperature had prevented him from taking part in Saturday's session.

Shouldn't they be able to do the running backwards a few yards already by the time they're internationals? I'm not entirely sure they need to be training it.

I bet spain were doing intricate passing and moving and striking tactics around the same time we were trying to master the art of sideways star-fishes. Something i've never seen anyone during a match.
