Let me get this straight; I should feel proud to pay an unconstitutional tax so we can fight a war that didn't have to be involved with in the first place? Adolf Hitler's economic policy would've brought down Nazi Germany on it's own. If we hadn't stopped trade with Japan, Japan would've never bombed Pearl Harbor, and thus, no war for us. By the time Germany finished it's idiotic social crusade on the Jews and what not, Germany would have been too weak to worry about.

@Michael117american this has nothing to do with being liberal or conservative. theyre banned because some of them have racist sentiment that in today's world is considered inappropriate, especially the japanese ones.

Walt Disney was asked by Henry Morgenthau, the Secretary of the Treasury to make it. It actually was meant to encourage people to pay taxes. Many people felt that by purchasing bonds, they did their part to help with the war. But to pay for the bonds, taxes needed to be paid. Disney made this cartoon at great financial loss for the company, but he felt that it was something that needed to be done.
