People rave about Mark Knopfler who IS good but I have 1 Mark Knopfler album for every 8 of my Chris Rea albums so, if that was a Middlesborough v Newcastle result I reckon Chris would be pretty happy. Want to know why Chris Rea didn't become a bigger star? Read the story behind the title of "Whatever Happened To Benny Santini" .. nothing changes the fact he's a great act even if he is massively and stupidly underrated.

A beautiful song and one of my favourites by him. Chris Rea is so underrated both as a songwriter and guitarist. His songs are full of emotion and his slide guitar sounds are unique to his playing. Thank you for this video.

LOVE that bombollini track. A lot of people don't rate that number but I thinks its awesome. Full on rock. Chris Rea is one of the jewels in the crown of British music. To me it's a crime he hasn't been knighted. Step forward Sir Chris Rea.
