lol @ the culture wars people are trying to start. This Latin verse references the Vulgate, specifically the Canticle of Mary, "Magnificat."

I say "magnify [the lord]" because the opening line of the Vulgate is "Magnificat anima mea, Dominum" which means "My soul doth magnify the lord."
