I'm in the 10th grade and in my math class have a 90 average and on my midterm exam i scored a 96 i also am taking the engineering class and have a 85 too. and i also have a job at burger king which is all i can get right now but i have some money to start taking flying lessons in the summer, i also am a club officer in my 4-h group
No, you don't have to go the the Air Force Academy or Naval Academy. You do need a Bachelors Degree and have a high IQ as well as scoring in the top percentages of the entrance exams for the service. Then if you are lucky enough you might be able to get into one of the flight traning programs. Having a pilots license helps. My son had 5 yrs of prior service in the Marines, was an air traffic controller, had a degree and a pilots license, as well as being very smart. He scored in the top 3%.
Uh rah. Thanks to them for ther service. My son was in for 5 years after high school, then got out, got his degree and pilots license, then back in a dn look what he is doing now. Flying F/A 18 Hornets! He is in Iraq now. Hopefully, your brother and cousin won't have to go.
