Hahaha, wait till next winter and you'd wish you'd kept it. Just chuck a hole in a wall, poke it thru into your shed. You'd only need to fire it for 20 seconds and you'd be nice and warm! :D

That little propane tank is so cute!
Around here you have to pay more for the tiny tanks. More money for less steel. 20lb tanks are the standard here and are most widely available at stores since they're the standard for grills I can pick a new one up for around 37 bucks empty.
Guess it's a supply and demand thing. Less of a demand on the smaller tanks so they cost more.
A tiny propane tank is great for a portable oxy propane cutting rig. Wish I had one for when I go to the scrap yard.

Aussie 50. What I meant was is there an issue with the power that is being produced not being used? Does it harm the alternator?

@romandybala nah, it will not harm the alternator running it without load, but the alternator will not load up the diesel that all

Is there any issue when running i the McLaren genset without a load .?

@romandybala not really, but the diesel will not run hard and glaze the bores up if its run for a long time, but for a few short runs it will be okay
