  • I was a young girl & never seen my Dad cry until the night came that we got called to say goodbye to my Grandma. We were there saying our goodbyes when she passed away. On our way home that night this song came on the radio & I seen my Dad weep like a baby driving home. Now I have been battling Gastric Cancer which is now in Stage 4 and I see the true meaning of this song. God Bless. And Dad, it never hurts to hurt sometimes, even strong Daddys.

  • It is A nice song it takes me back to 1984

When my son died this song was playing on the radio.

When I hear it I think of him.

    Thanks for posting this video.

  • @ buddybull4u this was written by a singer that didnt get to say goodbye to his dad

  • The lyrics to this song are just so powerful. Somebody must have been on a serious heartbreak to write it. As always, the boys are just awesome.
