Van's aircraft RV7 Aerobatics - Spins etc...

A cuban 8, followed by a series of spins. Testing my GoPro handlebar mount. Seems to be the ideal in cockpit mount for a slider RV.

Cool vid. Did you use the suction cup mount to hang this from your canopy? I'm hoping to mount a gopro in an RV-4 (slide back glass, front/back seater). Looking for ideas. Thanks

@mluedey I tried the suction mount, but it does not work well - too much vibration. I used the 'roll bar' (or bike mount) - I forget what they call it. Much better.

thanks for the reply. I tried the roll bar mount today and it worked great, just uploading the video now. The bubble canopy picks up a ton of glare but that's ok, midday might work better. Just in case you've never seen it...the Ram Horn bar mount is a stellar piece as well. I have one hanging a camera off the wing strut of a Tiger Moth.

Nice video. You should let the plane get into a couple of rotations before recovering from the spin though.
