8/8/09 - Six Flags Magic Mountain

On August 8th, 2009, I visited Six Flags Magic Mountain to have some fun, and see the concert that was scheduled. When in Rome, and A Flock of Seagulls. (see videos, descriptions for full details).

I got at the park after 1pm, and only rode three rides.

1. Terminator: Salvation - The Ride (90 min. wait)
2. Tatsu (1 hour. Both Station Tracks Running, 3 Trains)
3. Riddler's Revenge (2 hours, a very long wait)

It was after 5pm when I got off Riddler's Revenge, because I had to make it back to the Golden Bear Theatre, for the Concert of When in Rome, and A Flock of Seagulls. I left the park like 9:30pm, because I spoke with the guys from When in Rome, and waited to see if the guys from A Flock of Seagulls would come out and talk to fans, but Mike Score, and the other band members never came out, even after the 8pm show.

It was fun, but very crowded, and most of all the rides were packed, and long lines.

why did you go through the exit for revolution???? whats the short cut????

@darrenrocks1234 If you want to reach say Tatsu before everybody else, go this way. Everybody else has to climb descend up and around the big curve under the bridge of X2, and walk pass Viper. It's a shortcut.

I went late, because I didn't get much sleep the night before, I did have errands to run, and the fact I was going to be there late after the concert. I didn't want to go to early. I basically went for the concert, but rode three rides to kill time before 6pm. You can view all my pictures on my myspace page, if you wish to do so. It was nice to see the place again. We haven't been there in ages! It was sooo crowded tho so we'll do what we usually do and go during the week. We only go for the rides and don't care for concerts. You're lucly to have a pass - we're getting those for Disneyland soon :) Thanx for the tour!
