It'd be cool if they were wearing solo dresses

Hey!
I dance irish step, too.
I just want to say that it was amazing.
I love it!! :)

I love the costumes!!! The red and white waist-band makes it! The song at the very beginning is my favorite Irish dance tune and the Pixie's Reel is my favorite ceile dance!!!

At the arneson, right? It was lots of fun because we get to make something up at the end.

good video ;)

McTeggart dancers are still in California and doing well.

OK, well it reminds me of Scottish sword dancing, and it's nothing like modern competitive Irish Dance

I was at the San Antonio Irish Festival yesterday, and I really enjoyed the irish dance. Inishfree looked great, and the finale was lots of fun.

They're OK (especially the middle dancer at the beginning), but Innishfree performances are much better. What is that broom thing, it's pretty good but that's not irish. Scottish imitation maybe?

The narrator said that the broom dance was sean-nós dancing. Wikipedia says that it "is an old style traditional form of dancing that originated in the Connemara region (west coast of Ireland)."

Sorry that I wasn't able to film the Inishfree show at Texas Folklife, hopefully I will be able to do it next year.
