the calmest beach ever!

This has to be the calmest beach I have ever seen on the south shore of long Island. We were enjoying an early summer day at Robert Moses State Park and I noticed that the beach looked like a lake. The life guard on duty said that it had been like that for a few day now and was due to the northerly wind from canada blowing out the waves. Next week will be much better, I hope...

Strange day at Robert Moses. I learned to surf there back in the mid-80's....

I've seen it that docile but very, very rarely.

i go to that beach everyday in the summer, and fish there often in the winter. ive never seen it that calm lol u mustve been there on a abnormal day lol
