Scientists have unveiled a 47-million-year-old fossilised skeleton of a monkey hailed as the missing link in human evolution.
The search for a direct connection between humans and the rest of the animal kingdom has taken 200 years - but it was presented to the world today at a special news conference in New York.
The discovery of the 95%-complete 'lemur monkey' - dubbed Ida - is described by experts as the "eighth wonder of the world".
@faron27 lmfao are you for real. the bible says the world is flat which it isn't. the bible is only good enough for helping me start a fire. evolution is fact the bible is fairy tales

This is a little outdated. Scientists have identified the language gene known as FOXP2. Darwin was ignorant.

humans do not fit into the evolutionary time table it can be easily proven with out the use of a Bible or Religion.

@kryckeestrooff Google Project Steve NCSE, get a grownup to read and explain it to you slowly, and weep religiotard tears of loss of your delusions of a magical, invisible sky wizard that "poofed" everything into existence in your mythical bedtime stories.

@ndrthrdr1 How dare you insult billions of people, you fucking scum sucking pig! This is not the missing link they've been looking for, the link they can't find and never will is the one between apes and humans, not a fucking lizard!
Evolution has not been proven at all, and if it did exist we would still see it happening today, but it isn't!
It's Your generation who are indoctrinated gay fuckers, looking for an excuse to push your sick ways and practices upon the world.

Molecular Biology now makes finding more fossils unnecessary to prove evolution, but the fossils keep piling up.
Religious beliefs look more and more foolish, but those who were indoctrinated as children continue to cling to irrational beliefs.

@BrophyBass Will you be happy when they all go to hell because of their belief? Or do you think that some of them can actually be forgiven by God given they were good in their life time?

the missing link is supposed to be a fossil that shows the transition from the so called pre humans to the homosapians.. this fossil predates the pre humans themselfs.. nothing to do with the missing link. this just comes to show that even the evolutionists themselvs don't really feel secure about the darwinian theory that humans and monkeys have a common ancestor..because if they would feel secure about it they wouldent make these simply elogical and untrue claims

@jie3328 Think: What evidence is there that Ida ever produced any progeny significantly different from herself & isn't just 1 of innumerable dead end extinct fossils? We are not only told her invisible babies led to us but that innumerable "missing links" did also. And how do we tell "missing" from "never existed"? Dataless speculation presented as Gawd's truth, as science, is pseudo science - and business as usual for evoltuionists who want to make a monkey out of you.
