you try so hard to make islam look peaceful. fact is that most muslims kill each other much more than they aim against the west or other non-islamic dominated regions. Shiites blowing up sunnis and vice versa, yet the true reason behind the violence is a foreign power?

there's something deeper going on here. Its an entire region doubting the peace of Islam. Many are embracing Atheism, and to prove it the Arab Spring is a clear example of secularist rise. just the beginning

For those doubting the claim that millions of muslims hold cruel religious views: look at the new 2013 Pew analysis and poll. Google the title "The World’s Muslims: Religion, Politics and Society," click the Pew website.

While some views of the majority ARE tempered, many millions still hold intolerant, violent views. Example: 76 percent of muslims in South Asia and 56 percent in the middle east support executing those who leave the religion. Btw: over half of all muslims live in South Asia.

Islamic terrorism escalated in the 70's, more than 20 years after the creation of Israel. There are several reasons for this sudden rise and they're not related to Israel.

@Musicheadim. I read an article concerning Afghani women and their worry about their subjugation once the West leaves. They don't find the 'occupation' at all appalling. On the contrary, it is absolutely liberating for them. One has to consider what the Occupiers bring to the table before one can denounce them.

again, i'm not even suggesting that believing in 72 doesn't aid in carrying out terrorist attacks but it's by itself not the driving force. that's all i'm saying. and if people were as appalled by the occupations as much as they are about the terrorism then the world might be able to work towards a solution rather than compounding the problem as is being done today by killing more innocent people which is invariably creating more "terrorists".
