Classic Game Room reviews VANQUISH from Platinumgames and Sega, a futuristic robot-mecha-sci-fi-action-shooter with a cool style and ultra-slick gameplay. Vanquish is available for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 PS3, this CGR review of Vanquish from Sega has Xbox 360 game play showing Vanquish third person shooter gameplay in HD. Vanquish is directed by Shinji Mikami, the creator of Resident Evil. The story takes place on a massive space station where nations are warring over the planet's remaining energy resources. You play as Sam Gideon who wears a Master Chief-esque super suit that enables him to move quickly, slow down time and mix up gameplay so that Vanquish is more interesting and dlever than the average duck and cover style third person shooter.

I dont get it, why isn't vanquish way more popular than gears of war? Gears is laughably called a tactical shooter, and the combat is just boring. This game is awesome!

@spiderjerusalem100 The game must have sold at least 1 million copies as it's on the Xbox marketplace which requires a minimal of 1 million units sold I do believe.

Seriously one of the best games ever made. Awesome graphics, blisteringly fast and responsive gameplay and it's just fuckin' cool.
It's a shame it didn't sell well, sadly people are more interested in the copy and paste modern shooters where you follow American soldiers A, B and C around whereveristan and breach rooms in slow motion over and over again.
