Johnny Depp has expressed interest in joining the cast of Batman 3 as The Riddler. During an interview with MTV Depp said that he is willing to take the role of the puzzling villain.

When asked about the likelihood of him portraying The Riddler, Depp simply said, If the opportunity came, Id definitely juggle it.

He went on to profess his admiration of both The Riddler character and Frank Gorshin, the actor who originally played The Riddler in the 60s TV show. I always liked the Riddler, he explains. I always liked Frank Gorshin. Frank Gorshin was brilliant. I always thought he was a great actor.

  • Becaue of this video, Nolan removed Riddler . He haded the idea of Depp as the riddler

  • @alexman378 Yeah that was my opinion just like yours so deal with it or let it slide.

  • @videozfann Ledger's Joker wanted to prove something and partially made it and stated why he and Batman are destined to fight forever. Jack's died on their first encounter and wasn't really as smart as Heath's. Anyway, that's your opinion, I tried to explain you mine, either think of it, or just let it slide.

  • @videozfann Well, if your cheeks were cut open you wouldn't be really happy about it, now would you? Ledger had some great quotes that could make you consider he was quite more sane than you believed, and think of his philosophy, whereas Nicholson was just the generic bad (insane) guy, you know, rule everything, kill everything that moves (in a funny way though, I'll give him that), and all just for the hell of it. Also Ledger could make you feel the desperation of the people for what he does.

  • @alexman378 Ledger was so boring he almost put me to sleep. Jack was a pyscho and at the same time comedic, he killed and made it fun and entertaining unlike Ledger licking hips and whining about his scars. Eckhart Two-Face was more interesting than Ledger Joker. Jack was playing games to trap Vicky and Batman and would have killed them both but just like Ledger the plan backfired. Jack was giving away the money luring in people for a mass murder of Gotham City and making a JOKE out of it.

  • @videozfann He also wanted to make Batman kill him to prove that even the hero can become like him, while Nicholson's just wanted to have fun or something. When Ledger's plan didn't seem to work with Batman, he took the best guy of the city and turned him to a two faced psycho. That's the Joker.

  • @videozfann Jack Nicholson. I liked him too, but what was his motivation? Take over the mob. Ledger did the same in a more stylish way though. But after Jack sees Vicky Vale and falls in love or something, he forgets everything about his primal objective. The other guy, what did he do to the main girl? He threw her over the roof, and when that didn't work, he blew her up. That's the Joker. With his money, what did he do? Burned them with a guy one top. Jack was giving it to the people! No Joker.

  • i think the dude form the old movie should

  • Depp would have stoled the movie had he been the Riddler the way people seem to think overrated Ledger stole the Dark Knight (yawn).
