South Panola wins Mississippi 5A State Championship...again

South Panola beat Meridian for a 28-21 victory in the Class 5A title game and an unprecedented fourth consecutive MHSAA state championship on Dec. 1, 2006. "We just came out hungry for another state championship - and we managed to pull it out again," Dandy Dozen linebacker Chris Strong told the Clarion Ledger. "If someone wants to beat us, they better bring the Army, Navy and National Guard - because we ain't stoppin'."
