This was taken at the Gotham Cup meet in the New York Armory during my 2009-2010 season.
I am not particularly proud of this throw since I have achieved a 12m throw or more at every meet this season thus far except this one (11.98). This was the only throw taken in slow motion of the 3.
Hope you enjoy it.

As a note I am not in need of advice my coach gives me plenty, I also don't particularly care how old, what grade, what size and how far you throw. If you have something to prove, let your performance in the ring or on the track do the talking for you.

  • u need to kick that left leg straight to the toe board, a more agressive block will help your throw, i spin now, but i threw 18+ with the glide....

  • Yeah I know, right now we're focusing on keeping better separation between my hips and shoulders through the glide and getting better extension with my hip.

thanx for the good advice though its much appreciated.
