Bass making the CD player skip. Pioneer DEH-880 and 12" Alphasonik Mayhem (1)

First all, I'm not Steve Meade or anybody of importance. I feel that I have a very modest setup and I'm sure there are people who have a much better system than me.

Now, I thought that it was funny when I played cd's in the radio with loud bass that it makes the cd skip. I just wanted to share... enjoy

Setup:
Pioneer DEH P880 head unit
Hifonics 1606 mono sub amp
5 farad Capacitor
Single 12" Alphasonic Mayhem subwoofer in a 3.2 C.F ported enclosure

@bassline123456789 LOL... no, I wouldn't say that is a shitty head unit. It was a very loud system that eventually tore that car up. By the time it was all said and done, the back window leaked and everything rattled like crazy.

is that a mp3 cd? or regular cd? i got the older 860 and mine doesn't skip with mp3 cds but it does with regular cds

sounds good, now when u get some cash, get a good 4ch, hit the switch on the side of the headunit and run ur mids n highs active, i had mine active for a while but all i had was 2 2ch's and the tweet amp was shit so i went back to passive,

anyways, sounds good =)
