  • Why isn't this on local classic oldies radio????

  • @rexkcrain - I was just talking with a DJ at an oldies station last week and asked him why oldies stations don't play the "Good" oldies but instead play only the same Billboard Top 10 crap over & over. He said the advertising agencies do a lot of music research and have concluded that 35 year old & younger are the demographic they are aiming for because that's where the money is. This is the Baby Boomers music but we don't have a say in what gets played.

  • This is one of the best songs ever! I'm a HUGE fan of Joey Levine, and I LOVE this song! So many people don't realize that Joey Levine did so much more than just Bubblegum Music and commercial jingles. Nothing wrong with Bubblegum Music and commercial jingles-I love them both! But he did other more "topical" songs of the time too, like this classic. And if you really want to hear a great creepy topical song by The Third Rail, check out "No return"! That song is scary!

  • i am a lover of bubblegum and this was quite the find, never heard it, but can definitely hear Joey Levines great voice.

  • If it would have at least hit the top 40 many more would know this one. I never heard of this until it was on the Rock Artyfacts CD's from Sony.

  • Let me tell ya, I looked for 20 years for this song! Had the wrong title and band, nobody could id it from what lyrics i remembered.Great one hit wonder!

  • @HarvestmanMan Before RealPlayer made it easy, these files automatically download into your Temporary Internet Files folder. As you listen, they become yours anyway. Back then, before Realplayer, I used the RIVA Flash Player to play the videos.

  • Great music!!!!! Sounds a little like Uncle Albert in the voice part.

  • This song appears the source for 'borrowing' to create that Rebecca Black(?) video/song, "Friday". Third Rail probably got free beer in1967, for performing this

lost gem. Enjoy "Run Run Run".

  • Superb stuff!!
