@sok8888 i'm listening, what are your recommendations?

it appeared to be loose. With only one screw to tighten it to the table it looked like it wanted to "walk" around.

Those plastic stand looks weak and cheap... and for $200 you can get better mill.

This mill looks great, what is the difference between this and the German-made mill, which i think is also called the family grain mill, yes?
thanks

Quick Question:
is this the same as the Farmer's Grain Mill?
I am looking for something that will crack Legumes into half or quarter size pieces, will this be able to accomplish that? thanks!

Can that mill make any grain so fine; that it can be made into batter? I was thinking of making rice flour with the mill. Will that work?
Be careful of Lehman's warranties. Years ago I purchased a Krathobel (cabbage cutter). It had wooden rail guides that warped badly after the first use...cutting cabbage for sauerkraut of course. Therafter the cutter was unsafe and unusable; I called Lehman's...was transfered to Galen...and told that if I "used" the procut it could not be returned. End of story...but they discontunued that cabbage cutter shortly thereafter.

@texasstadium, that should not have been the case. If the cutter was purchased in the last 10 years we honor any return on it. If you would like to have this taken care of still please call customer service at 888-438-5346 and speak to one of our customer service representatives.

dafranx- yes, the Lehman's Best Grain Mill will do your rice flour. The cast iron burrs are adjustable, so you can adjust it to whatever fineness you would like!
