I was a college student when WYD 1995 was help in Manila. It was a great once-in-a-lifetime event!

@rechoflex wow! you're only in high school but you were already able to attend. as a filipino, i'd agree that the WYD 1995 would be the most memorable...only if I was there to witness it!

Iam a 4th year high school student and I recently attended the WYD in Madrid and I heard from some of the other delegates I was with that the WYD in Manila was more memorable....now i'm a filipino and i'm not bias..in my opinion, all WYDs are unique, special and memorable in their own way.

@danilusable i think one of the most memorable WYDs would have to be the one held in Manila (1995). an estimated 5 million people attended the event, which makes the WYD in Manila the presumed largest Christian/Papal gathering ever. the other two... well, all of the other WYDs were just as memorable, especially if you became a part of it. the WYD in Manila being one of the most memorable WYDs is just my presumption.

It was watching JPII in a wyd video that made me go on my first WYD experience when I was 15.
