Deep in my subconscious is my love for Afghanistan and the people there. Thank you so much for sharing this video! I just LOVED the whole thing - car ride, sweety children and the absolute beauty of the Salang river - so clear and beyond anything I've ever seen before - I hope you postmore of these family videos!

White water rafting is the sustainable business plan here if it's pretty near Kabut which I don't know. Little cozy farmer hotels along the way and restaurants serving simple local fare would also benefit the business model. Top soil tree planting, wild flowers etc. could make the route the best in the World. Eco-tourism could explode here - its got the class 3 river and road to bring the tourists back and fourth. I am serious. USAID should forget about alternative crops.
