Well, before Dr. King died in 1968, he started to really wake up and see the things that Malcolm X was seeing. MLK began to overtly condemn white society and wanted more black self determination. This is shown in his 1967-1968 speeches sounding like a non-violent version of Malcolm X. He criticized mainstream capitalism and the war in Vietnam. Malcolm X was evolving too and both men wanted the same goal (they just had different methods in getting to that goal).

  • So what happened to part 1?

  • this is KNOWLEDGE; Black Knowledge

  • @TruthSeeker24 Yes I know this but did you know that the march on the Capital as we know it is a watered down version of what was originally planned. The way it was suppose to be was to shut the country down. There were people who were going to shut down the airport, others were going to push there way into congress & protest. The gov't heard of this & decided to add there 2 cents in by basically begging MLK to not allow it. And if you do this we will not intervene. There is alot that not known.

  • @mal438 What exactly is bullshit? Because I can stir you to my references. I just wanted to know if anyone else heard this new news. They wrote about it back in the 60's both black and white.

  • @BigPreme To me it does.

  • @groundpounder35 does it really matter?

  • @mal438 Thanks. But did you here the criticisms about the 1963 march on Wash? Malcolm talks about it as well as a lot of others. They say that the gov't was nervous and finally contained and controlled it. MLK soon after received his Nobel peace Prize for his cooperation.

  • @groundpounder35 complete bullshit

  • There is a growing movement claiming that both Malcolm X and MLK were both masons. Does anyone know for sure whether this is true or not. I've always wondered whether or not Dr. Clark was one.
