  • you sir are driving like a complete bell end.

  • @baggies5000 not really, stuck within the speed limit, no screachy wheels well within the cars capabilites and the road conditions.

  • can you do the supercharger kit on this engine ?

  • @rs200000000000

anything is possible, but I wouldn't do it without a full rebuild first to make sure the bottom end can take the power

  • @baggies5000 he's driving fine !! least he can drive (Y)

  • @rs200000000000 hey there, I've done this swap as well in my mini using an 89' MG metro engine. It has a HIF 44 carb. I rebuilt the gearbox and it has a full RC 40 exhaust system, LCB manifold & K&N filter. I use a BDL needle which seems to work very well.

IMO i wouldnt change the carb from a HIF 44 because it will not limit the power of any A series engine up to 100bhp easily. taking from experience as ive owned twin SU's before which performed worse than a single HIF 44.

  • not gona bother supercharging lol just asking for trouble just gona swap the 998 for a same engine as you have metro 1275 maybe better carbs ect all it needs really i mean yours seems pretty quick

  • i love videos like this they really show how quick standard minis are! ive got a 91 1275 a+ cooper mate and it goes exactly how yours does on this video. there so much fun and for what they are, really very quick.

  • Nice Mini m8....whats the approximate 0-60mph time? Got a mg metro engine to put in around xmas time, so I was just curious.

    regards.

  • cant wait to drive mine gt 1274 mg engine 276 cam stage 3 head high lift rockers lightened flywheel fiberglass front 4 pot brakes and ince 3/4 carb gettin 94bhp mite put in 25bhp nos boost and run on 10 imch starmags god i love minis
