Welcome back zappers, Im Devin Curry with http://Shazap.com. Your online video source for comic book news and reviews. Follow me on Twitter at http://twitter.com/devincurry.

So in the last review I started to speak of consistency in this title and how it is jumping from story to story and lacking the cohesiveness to really keep it a solid story. Here we go again. No follow up with hammerhead or Mr Negative. I mean come on half of the street kids in Manhattan were just killed not to mention almost our favorite wall crawler on Mr Negative’s orders, but I’m sure Spidey wouldn’t make finding him a priority. No, he needs to train for his cabby job and run off on an adventure with the punisher. Don’t get me wrong this is a good story but not up to the level that this book has been of lat and where it would be. But hey, at least we got to see the bookie back in action. What is it with that character and why is he still here. The whole spider tracer mystery has been hanging around for so long without any real payoff that I’m over it I don’t really care if they find the killer or if they just let that little plot line fade away. The Mr Negative story was good but they let it go like they have everything else that made Spiderman a great book. Distributed by Tubemogul.

  • spiderman made a deal with the devil to save the life of aunt may. That is why he is single, living with aunt may and has web shooters. total shit

  • I'm sure the Mr. Negative story will come back. The thing I like about this book is its casual nature. I feel like I can pick up the issues by writers that I like and skip the other issues and not miss anything important. I think since BND the best thing to do with Spider-Man is enjoy the classic stories and not worry about continuity too much. Mostly because they already threw it out the window after JMS left.

Yeah, that's literally the worst thing of all time. As far as comic books go anyway.

  • I have been away from spidey for some time now and was wondering when they did "one more day" and "brand new day" did he go back to web shooters or was his webbing still organic?

  • hes pretty gay ae!

  • This guy is a douche

  • i have this comic

  • I insist, since the OMD/BND thing, there is no strength on this title.Apparently, Marvel just don´t give a damn about the biggest seller of their company. Predictable storylines and failed humor won´t put Spidey up to the level he had when DeMatteis or Paul Jenkins and even(yes, even) JM Straczynski were running in the title.
