I can't believe it someone actually dislikes this...?
Looks like someone needs to get a sense of humor.

Haven't seen this masterpiece in SO many years, and still LOVE it! Thanks for posting!

The "emotional conductor" is what my 6th, 7th grade choir teacher was. It was so funny.

The beginning music in this segment is from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker. Specifically, it's the Russian dance in the ballet (called Trepak)

Thank you Obeca for posting these! I remember watching this as a 3 yr old back in '81 and falling in love with him. Have never been able to find the video, so thank you for allowing me to relive this amazing experience.

They did not keep a straight face. He has to stop playing several times because he cant stop himself laughing. Are you guys watching?

Es ist immer wieder traumhaft und wunderschön, schade, dass dieses Konzert nicht mal wieder im Fernsehen gebracht wird

This segment drives my 6 year old nuts! They never actually play the piece, just start it over and over again. He does like where the concert master gets in trouble for not stopping when the director stops. I don't know how those musicians kept a straight face or were even able to play for laughing.
