Will one male betta a 1 or 2 white clouds do fine in a 1 gallon tank together?

I had this male betta and 2 white clouds together in a one gallon before I upgraded to this bigger tank and it worked fine. Short fin male is best. Frequent water changes as well on a tank that size. You'll get a crap storm of ppl saying the tank is too small for that but if you maintain it properly than it will be fine. :)

Yes, I feed the betta and wcmms Betta Min as the staple food.

Yes a nine or ten gallon would be fine. Let the tank cycle before adding any fish. Also, This combination does not always work, sometimes the white clouds will nip the betta's fins like they did with mine here. I had to remove the white cloud to their own tank.

Try a short finned large male betta with the white clouds to minimize the chance that they'll nip at him.

@oceanofjelly how big is your tank...because I was thinking about keeping a betta and 5 white cloud mountain minnows in a 9 gallon tank because I read that mountain minnows need around 10 gallons...would this work?

are these fake plants? do they pollute the water by any chance? I want get plants myself :)
