Rock started in the blues and blossomed from that point. I am an old rocker ie.62 years and I must say that I find Japanese and Asian rock refreshing as their lyrics are much deeper in that they do not have to look to the rhyme that the American rock seems to depend so much on. Japan rock rocks

That's what it started as and will stay as.
However, people think rock is about rebellious nature and bad/evil.
That's stupid.
