From 2:28 to 3:00 is the most eloquent argument in favour of gay marriage ever made in an assembly. It's still not the highlight though - that comes at 5:26 when he JUST holds back from shouting "Let's cut the crap!" Ireland has chosen a fantastic ninth president, to be sure to be sure.

@blah4239 Yes, he supports gay rights. The purpose of his argumenet was to was fight for gay civil unions (next best thing to gay marriage) and how it is a basic human right of ours. I voted Norris one, and Michael two.

A mind like a razor, take a look at how many times other speakers refer to their notes, Michael D has little need to do this as he speaks from within.
