@MrGoogsy29 I think you are exactly right, I even went out and bought the last Pearl Jam album from a few years back and it was not that great...okay but not like their old style whatsoever. Eddie Vedder did a soundtrack solo for "Into the wild" and it was brilliant. Clearly it was time for a solo career.
Yeah the La's stand alone as genius...hands down.

any idiot who starts off a post stating "Pearl Jam is the best" fucking needs to take a good, long, hard look at themselves in the mirror. Have u ever thought that after 25-years the La's don't give a fuck about America and don't really care - but we should be happy in the UK, we're being 'honoured', ha-ha!! I also disagree that PJ have earned any respect. Started off riding on Cobain's coat tails - a real talent who understood UK and US music. PJ would be a distant memory if he'd stuck around.
