boat test 3 Romany 21 with 6.5 turbo diesel

15X21 PROP installed, whale tail installed on outdrive. Maximum speed by GPS was 38mph at 3400rpm against the tide. Installed 45mph speedo from the old 67 Glaspar and it was accurate at under 20mph but seemed to stick above 25. There was a fuel problem 3 times as the engine lost power and stalled. Nothing came out of the return line with fuel pump on until I blew it clear. Then ran fine. Engine water temp 165. Much less smoke off the exhaust manifolds.

OK, the Nuts.....tug on my diryty balls and the horn blows. The 3 fingers indicates 3000 rpm which will be cruising speed, mid 30 mph. And yes...the epoxy has been cleaned off the window glass now.
