After the cancellation of The Jon Stewart Show but before he moved to The Daily Show, Jon Stewart hosted a series of this BBC talk show, Where's Elvis this Week?. In it, two Brits and two Yanks would discuss the issues and ideas of the day. This show featured Dave Chappelle, Tony Hawks, a very young-looking Christopher Hitchens, Helen Gurley Brown

  • Dave was HIGH.

  • @babyshambler I'm actually in the UK but I haven't got a tv so I guess I miss these things.

  • @mikelheron20

You'd see contestants on English Gameshows doing the same, and my Mum would always say it looked "So American!" ha.

  • Why do Americans applaud themselves?

  • RIP Hitch

  • @IAreDunce yup, lol

  • This was a really great idea. Why did it only last one series?

  • @pootymcpoots - Presumably, Dave and Helen were clapping each other, not themselves.
